Do you have a conscious ‘practice’ for personal (inner) development, transformation and ego transcendence?

Any great methods for becoming more transparent and authentic? For letting go of fear? For owning and letting go of the shadow/ego?

Transformative Thinker here — just curious to find other kindred spirits on this site. Peace and Agape

Ego/anti-ego accomodation. When you balance ego (self certainty and certainty generally)and anti-ego (self-doubt and doubt generally), then you have balanced self center. Owning and letting go are antithesis or opposites and yet letting go, according to Hegel, is the ultimate or last act of the owner, verifying personal ownership was the concept believed. We really don’t own ourselves to begin with, never did. Letting go of fear is done by letting go of your life. Why would you do that. If it’s convenient, run your ass off if you feel fear, or do push ups or any conbination of excersizing. This shall bring a sense of well being in many senses of the word ‘wellbeing’. When you love somebody remember to love yourself *equally*, because that shall remind you of how and what someone else may feel.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about but,as for fear, when it knocks let faith answer and no one will be there. The only way to inner development is self honesty. Only you know the real you,if you don’t see the person you want to be looking at you in the mirror, become that person. The ability to make choices is what separates us from animals and angels.

“Yes, I have conscious methodology that has “come upon me” during intervals of time. Time matures my consciousness every 3 years or so. I can only describe these 3 year increments as “expansions” of awareness, or better yet, “epiphanies. ”
After each “epiphany” I entered a sharp and deep depression. Of course, and thankfully, I recognized what occurred. The depression was a result of destroying my old self . . . sorrow at leaving the comfort of the old me behind. With this continual recognition, of my “death” after “epiphany” some kind of automatic reconstruction of my new psyche evolves. I’ve solved delimmas like avarice, untruths, sloth and covetousness. As a result, my friendships strengthened and increased. I became more transparent to my friends, relatives and significant other(s). In fact, it became much easier to make new friends and acquaintances because I became more concerned with others instead of myself. I suppose my newer authenticity became more recognizable to others because they became more recognizable and transparent to me. All kinds of latent possibilities became evident to me to a greater degree after each “epiphany. ”
I solved love, hate and lust. I found no pride in the accomplishments . . . pride just seems to be another liability which I’m conquering (that’s right I’m getting around to it).
In conclusion, your sentence construction, punctuation and content seems to be recognizable to a deeper degree than many of the cursory, incoherent questions that surface on this site. I sincerely believe a connectedness exists between us . . . has probably always existed between us. “

Hi Tasa! How was vacation???

I’ve used many different practices for learning and changing different things. The most fun one was to imagine that I was living in the presence of Angels in disguise. That EVERYONE around me was secretly an angel to teach me, and show me things. I did it for about a year quite a few years back. Talk about ego death! And the amazing thing about it was, when I didn’t want to do it with someone somehow they would say something to bring me back to it like, “I’m just trying to show you something!” What a year that was! I’ve got a lot more if you want to exchange some. I love your surfing one. THAT I can really relate to and experience! What happened to your avatar????

I think mindfullness works well.

Feel the fear and do it anyway.

Keep expressing yourself and be oblivious of the good opinions of others.
